The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed regarding the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance stage made for intervention experiences a large inflow sassa status of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
